Gupta reviews developmental works at Devika, inaugurates J&K Bank ATM

UDHAMPUR, Mar 28: Minister of State for Finance and Information Technology, Pawan Gupta inspected the developmental works at Devika here today.
He inspected the ongoing repair and restoration works of protection wall at Devika, being executed by Irrigation and Flood Control Department. He directed the concerned officers to ensure proper monitoring to keep a check on the quality of the works and stressed on expediting the tempo of ongoing works to ensure their time bound completion.
Earlier, the Minister inaugurated Jammu & Kashmir Bank ATM at Kallar Battal Ballian road, near Government Women College, Udhampur. He also inaugurated a new Ultrasound machine in Sidhi Vinayak Nursing Home.
While speaking on the occasion, Minister said that opening of ATM in the area will be of great use to the local people as well as to the students of the college. He said that this is the 19th ATM of J&K Bank in Udhampur and five more new ATMs will be opened shortly in the district to facilitate the people and provide them easy banking services.
Earlier, Minister also paid obeisance at Sharika Mataji temple and Kali Mataji temple and prayed for peace and prosperity of the State.
Among others, Assistant Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Control Department Kishore Kumar Pabba, senior officers of various departments, and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
