Gupta kick starts blacktopping work from Balli to Gandala

UDHAMPUR, Mar 25: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Pawan Gupta kick started the blacktopping work of road from Balli to Gandala.
While speaking, former sarpanch Sardar Singh said that MLA Pawan Gupta has fulfilled his election commitment and he will always be remembered for historic development of his Assembly constituency.
He further disclosed that few years back electric wires in their area were seen hanging on trees for the supply of electricity but MLA Pawan Gupta has taken this problem very seriously and passed necessary instructions to the authorities of electrical department for installation of proper electric poles in their area  resulting department has shift their lines to electric poles from trees. Now we are getting electricity supply property, he added.
While addressing the gathering, MLA Pawan Gupta has expressed that the first step for overall development of the area is proper road connectivity and he has observed that Balli and Gandala areas are adjoining areas of Udhampur town but these areas are totally ignored for development from last one decade.
He estimated cost of blacktopping of road from Balli to Gandala is Rs 5.9 crore and one this road is black topped, around 6000 people will be benefited.
Gupta disclosed that his priority as MLA is overall development of Udhampur Assembly Constituency and he is committed to link all the villages of constituency with a strong network of road connectivity.
He also assured the people that necessary measures will be taken to solve their other problems, which they had brought into his knowledge.
Among others present were Mohinder Singh, Mehar Singh, Jia Lal, Sanjay Kumar, Karnail Singh, Ravinder Singh, Sanjeev Singh and Girdhari Lal.
