GREF Labour Union projects demands

JAMMU, Feb 16:  Border Roads Labour Union  of  GREF,  discussed their demands and adopted a resolution here today.
In a meeting of the Union held here today under the leadership of  Shiv Kumar Sharma, INTUC president and  organized by  Raghubir Singh Chib and Dev Raj president, Border Road Labour Union of GREF, the members  pointed out that daily wages of the labourers which was increased in the month of April, 2013 has not been  implemented.
It was also discussed that the wages should be fixed at least  Rs 10,000 per month, proper seniority list  be prepared in respect of all the workers and senior should  not be discriminated at the cost of juniors.
Other demands like revision of  rate of bonus, disbursement of pay on first of each month, adequate retirement gratuity were also discussed.
