JAMMU, Jan 8: J&K Grameen bank has inaugurated Point of Sale (PoS) services at M/s Choudhary Groups of Companies and M/s Lavish Motors in Sarore and Swankha Morh under the Branch Office Kartholi and Swankha Morh respectively.
Janak Raj Angural, Chairman, JKGB who was the chief guest, inaugurated the PoS terminals at both the venues.
In his inaugural, he said that PoS devices are the need of the hour as its aides the mission of GOI to make India a cashless economy. He also highlighted the various lending schemes tailored by J&K Grameen bank for general public available on easy EMIs like housing, education, real estate, transport loans etc. and various subsidy linked loan schemes such as DEDS, PMEGP, JKREGP, etc.
Romesh Vaid, General Manager, JKGB briefed the clientele about the various benefits of using PoS devices. He also threw light on the existing digital products and services like Rupay Debit Cards, NEFT/RTGS, IMPS, SMS Alerts etc. offered by the bank.
Amit Laira, Regional Manager, Samba and Kathua thanked impressed upon the public to learn and use cashless modes of payment. He also appealed the branch managers to generate more demand for PoS devices.
Salim Choudhary, Proprietor Choudhary Groups of Companies and Ganesh Choudhary Proprietor Lavish Motors said that it would have been impossible for them to flourish their business without the support of JKGB.
Vipan Gupta, Senior Manager, FI&I Department hosted the inauguration functions at both the venues.
Jyotsna Garib, Incharge IT Department, Rakesh Bhat, Corporate Manager, Worldline India Private Limited, General Manager Kashmir region, all the sectional heads and all the regional managers, IT staff, various sarpanchs and panchs of the areas, Vikas Salgotra, Branch Head Kartholi and Vipin Sangral, Branch Head Swankha Morh were also present on the occasion.
