Govt urged to regularize Incharge Officers, Lecturers

JAMMU, Aug 28: Incharge School Education Officers and Lecturers Forum (ISEOLF) today held a meeting to discuss the progress in getting regularization of all cadres i.e CEOs Principals, ZEOs, Lecturers and Headmasters.
The meet regretted that despite ISEOLF leaving no door unknocked since 2014, there has been no concrete and time bound action taken by the authorities till date. The participants expressed great resentment that the consolidated data in the Directorate office Jammu was deleted by unknown officials in the Directorate.
Addressing the meeting, chairman of the Forum, Amar Nath Thakur said that the matter has been discussed in detail with all authorities and Director School Education Jammu has been requested to get the whole data updated of all the cadres at the earliest.
While welcoming the initiative taken by Commission Secretary School Education Shaleen Kabra for regularizing all 77 Incharge Joint Directors, Chief Education Officers and Principal of SIE and DIETs, Thakur said out of 77 Incharge officer 62 have already retired till date and presently serving CEOs and equivalent would have to wait till 77 officers are regularized to get the posts cleared. He  appealed the Commissioner Secretary to issue the regularization order of all left out ZEOs, Lecturers and Headmasters who are waiting for their seniority  since 2011-12 till date and their files are pending in the civil secretariat for disposal  which  has been already sent by the Directorates of Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion,  Surjit Singh, president Headmaster Forum, Dileep Kumar Dhar, president ZEOs association, Tara Mani, Ashwani Sharma ,  Bansi Lal, Tara Chand (members of Incharge +2 Lecturers) and  Des Raj (Headmaster),  appealed  the Education Minister to issue strict directions to concerned authorities to complete the process of regularization as soon as possible and implementation of SRO 481 Education of  2010, SRO 166 GAD of 2005 and directions of Supreme Court  in letter and spirit.
