Govt trying to divide business community for sake of power: JKPYCC

KATHUA, Nov 6: State General Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir Pardesh Youth Congress Committee (JKPYCC), Pankaj Basotra (Advocate), has accused the State Government of trying to divide the business community and the people of the Jammu province for the lurch of power.
He said the division of the people and the business community in Jammu province is unbearable and the result of the same shall be dangerous for the whole State and the country also. He said that the commitments made during the election by the BJP with the people of Jammu province have not been fulfilled and now when they have adopted the path of the democratic system to highlight their issues, some ministers of the BJP are trying to crush their voice by hook or crook.
Basotra was speaking during a public meeting organized during his three-day tour to Phainter, Mandli, Kishanpur, Gurha Kalyal and other areas. He said that the people of Jammu province are feeling discriminated in all fields. He said that during the implementation of the GST in the State the BJP led government at the centre told the people that there shall be one tax in whole of the country but in J&K there is another tax in the shape of toll tax at Lakhanpur and lower Munda.
People of the area told Basotra that the students of the area from Ujh Pul to Khoon (Majalta Tehsil) are facing hardships to get the higher education at Kathua, Billawar or Batal Morh. He demanded Degree College at Ramkot which is pending since long and asked the people to be ready for any democratic way to get the Degree College at Ramkot.
