Govt should handle issues of 370, 35A carefully: Rana

POONCH, Aug 23: Senior National Conference leader and Member Legislative Assembly Mendhar, Javed A Rana, today asked Government to handle the issue of 370, 35A carefully as the same was a sensitive one.
Rana said this while addressing a workers meet of party in Mendhar office. He said that Jammu and Kashmir State is having special status in the country and the whole system of this special status is not new.
“Government should understand that Article 370 and 35A are sensitive issues and not confined to any religion or region”, Rana said asking both State and Central Governments to handle the issue carefully keeping in view its sensitivity.
He also said that some forces in country are trying to make it a regional issue but we all need to give befitting reply to these anti-social forces so that such a sensitive issue could not be given such a colour which is against social values.
Rana, on the issue of Tripple Talaq further said that Central Government is trying to interfere in the religious matters which is not a good sign.
Besides, Rana also termed inclusive development of all the areas of Mendhar as his main priority saying that he is not leaving any stone unturned in solving issues of public.
In this party meeting, the cadre unanimously nominated Retired Sub Inspector, Mohd Aziz as Block Gursai Secretary of National Conference.
Earlier, party workers present in meeting discussed party issues and need of strengthening public contact in the area.
