KISHTWAR, Nov 16: Taking a strong note on the absenteeism in School Education Department, Naib Tehsildar Chingham on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana today made surprise visit of various schools in Chingham area where during inspection, Government High School Chingham was found locked at 10:45 am and the teacher Nusrat Ara of one primary School Mullar was also found absent.
It is pertinent to mention here that District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana has issued strict instructions to all the sectoral officers to ensure the punctuality of the officers in their respective departments.
“No compromise will be made as far the punctuality in the Government offices including health and educational institutions are concerned and the erring officers will be dealt as per law”, the order issued by DC read.
It’s unfortunate that the officials have taken the orders very lightly or it seems that the district and sectoral officers have not passed on the directions of the higher authorities to their subordinates, DC order mentioned.
In the backdrop of facts and taking into consideration the concept of “No Work No Pay”, the drawing and disbursing officers were directed to deduct the one day salary of all the erring employees who were found absent today during the surprise inspection.
Meanwhile,  SDM Chatroo has been designated as enquiry officer who will submit a report within three days.
