JAMMU, Mar 17: Speaker, Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta today said the Government is seriously pursuing its development agenda in the State.
The Speaker said this while addressing the people during a visit to Ekta Vikar. He directed the officers that model ward with the basic amenities of drinking water facility, electricity, infrastructure, construction of lanes and drains should be completed on priority basis.
While inspecting the pace of progress on various developmental works being implemented at the cost of Rs. 10 lakh in Ekta Vihar-Gangyal, the Speaker stressed on the officers for the early completion of the ongoing works in the area.
During the visit, the locals urged him for repair and replacement of tiles broken in many lanes in Etka Vihar. He assured them that their demand would be redressed in a time bound manner.
