Govt orders promotions, transfers, postings of KAS officers

JAMMU, Apr 17: The State Government today ordered placement of 13 KAS officers in the Special Scale against the available vacancies besides affecting transfers and postings of 14 KAS officers with immediate effect.
These officers include Rachna Sharma,  Leena Padha, Kusum Badyal, Rajinder Singh Tara,  Vivek Sharma, Mohammad Hussain Mir, Tariq Hussain Ganai, Munir-ul-Islam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, Nisar Ahmad Wani, Jatinder Singh,  Sajad Hussain Ganai and  Anoo Malhotra.
Consequent upon these promotions, transfers and postings of 14 KAS officers was ordered with immediate effect.
Salma Hamid, Director, Handicrafts, J&K, is transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, against an available vacancy.
Parvaiz Iqbal Khateeb, Additional Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Administration), Jammu, is transferred and posted as Director, Technical Education, J&K, against an available vacancy.
Mohammad Saleem Shisghar, Secretary, J&K State Vigilance Commission, is transferred and he shall await further orders of adjustment in GAD.
Rachna Sharma, Joint Director, Handicrafts, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Administrator, Associated Hospitals, Jammu, against an available vacancy.
Leena Padha, Additional Secretary, Department of Tourism and Culture, is transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Department.
Kusum Badyal, Joint Registrar, Cooperatives (Special), Jammu, is transferred and posted as Additional Director, Handlooms, against an available vacancy.
Vivek Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Recoveries), Jammu, is transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Samba, against an available vacancy.
T K Bhat,  Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Vigilance and Inspection), Jammu, shall hold the charge of the post of Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Recoveries), Jammu, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Mohammad Hussain Mir, Joint Director, Tourism, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner (Central) in the office of Financial Commissioner, Revenue, against an available vacancy.
Shabir Hussain Bhat, Deputy Director, Tourism, Kashmir, shall hold the charge of the post of Joint Director, Tourism, Kashmir, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Tariq Hussain Ganai, Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Gulmarg, is transferred and posted as Director, Handicrafts, J&K, vice Salma Hamid.
Tufail Matoo, Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation, shall hold the charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Gulmarg, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Showkat Aijaz Bhat, Additional Secretary Finance Department, is posted as Director, Finance and ex-officio Special Secretary Finance Department, against an available vacancy.
Nisar Ahmad Wani, Additional Secretary, Revenue Department, is transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.
Jatinder Singh, Director, Land Management, Jammu Development Authority, is transferred and posted as Secretary, State Vigilance Commission, vice  Mohammad Saleem Shisghar.
Ravi Kumar Bharti, Collector, Land Acquisition, Jammu Development Authority, shall hold the charge of the post of Director, Land Management, Jammu Development Authority, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Anoo Malhotra,  Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Audit), Jammu, is transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Administration), Jammu, vice  Parvaiz Iqbal Khateeb.
P K  Bhat,  Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Appeals), Jammu, shall hold the charge of the post of Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Audit), Jammu, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Manmohan Singh,  Additional Secretary  Planning and Development Department, is transferred and posted as Joint Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Jammu, against an available vacancy.
None amongst these officers, under orders of transfer, shall be assigned or allowed to perform any election related assignment/duty till completion of the ongoing General Elections.
The officers namely Rajinder Singh Tara, Munir-ul-Islam  and Sajad Hussain Ganai,
shall continue at their present places of postings as Additional Deputy Commissioners and perform election related duties assigned to them. They shall, however, hold the charge of the post of ADDCs of their respective districts, in addition to their own duties till further orders.
