JAMMU, Feb 17: As the incumbent Chief Vigilance Commissioner and Vigilance Commissioners are going to demit offices on completion of their tenure, the State Government has invited nominations from all Administrative Secretaries for these posts in the State Vigilance Commission (SVC).
As already reported exclusively by EXCELSIOR, Chief Vigilance Commissioner Kuldeep Khoda and Vigilance Commissioner R K Jerath are scheduled to demit office on February 21 while as another Vigilance Commissioner Gous-ul-Nisa Jeelani’s term will end on March 31.
The last date for sending nominations is March 6, 2017, the General Administration Department said in a circular issued today, adding vide notification dated December 29, 2011 the department has already issued guidelines for filling up the posts of CVC and Vigilance Commissioners.
