JAMMU, Nov 2: Alleging that Government of J&K is ignoring Batwal community, J&K Batwal Welfare Association (JKBWA) today appealed the Chief Minister to look into the matter personally.
The issue was discussed during a meeting of the Association held today under the chairmanship of Sat Paul Lakhotra, president of the association. The meeting said that Government of J&K is ignoring the Batwal community, as their series of memorandums submitted to it in the last three decades have fetched no response.
Association members stated that the Batwal Community is a huge segment of population in the State but despite that the Government is ignoring it as the Government has not resolved its even a single burning issue.
The meeting urged the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to look into the matter and do full social justice with the Batwal community people by seeking action taken report from the departments to which their memorandums were referred by the former Chief Ministers in the last three decades for taking necessary action therein.
