JAMMU, Nov 3: Jammu Kashmir Government Employees and Workers Federation has expressed its anguish and concern over the failure of Government in solving long standing demands of the employees who are under the burden of sky rocketing prices of essential commodities.
The Federation leaders including Kulwant Singh, Shahid Hussian, Subash Chander, K S Samyal, Paramjit Singh, Suresh Kumar and Aslam Khan while talking to reporters said the legislators are busy in enhancing and doubling their own salaries and they don’t bother for the poor and casual labourers and employees.
The Federation leaders made an appeal to Government employees casual laborers to assemble in front of Divisional Commissioner’s Office at Bahu Plaza on November 8 at 11 am to participate in the dharna the call for which was given by J&K Government Employees , Casual Labourers, Workers and Pensioners United Platform an amalgam of various federations, organizations, unions and associations.
The Federation leaders urged the Government for fulfillment of demands including framing of policy for regularization of casual laborers, implementation of 7th Pay Commission, removal of pay anomalies in various cadres and release of interim relief at Rs 10 percent immediately in favour of employees.
