Govt focused on development, augmentation of basic facilities: Nanda

REASI, Nov 6: Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Ajay Nanda today asserted that the State Government has laid special focus on development and augmentation of basic amenities to improve living standard of common man.
The Minister was speaking at a public grievance redressal camp after dedicating   power sub-station to the people  of village Laiter Danga developed at a cost of Rs  Rs 3.35 lakh and provided by him out of  CDF.
He said that the Government is focusing on expansion of road connectivity, augmentation of drinking water and power infra and improvement of  education standards in rural areas.
He reviewed the pace of   developmental works taken up under convergence of MGNREGA and   other schemes and took stock of the grievances of the people.
The Minister directed the concerned officers to redress problems of the people on priority. He asked the field functionaries to create awareness among public about the schemes of their departments to enable people of far flung areas to take benefit.
Responding to various issues raised by locals, the Minister assured them of early redressal of all genuine demands.
