Govt committees for implementation of Cashless Bharat Mission in J&K

JAMMU, Mar 30: For effective implementation of Less Cash-Cash Less Bharat Mission in Jammu and Kashmir, the State Government has accorded sanction for constitution of  committees at different level for enabling Digital payments.
State Level Coordination Committee shall frame roll out plan and training calendar besides issuing advisories and assigning targets to the Divisional Level Coordination Committee, which shall ensure adherence to the roll out plan and training calendar, coordinate all the agencies involved, compliance to the  advisories issued by SLCCDP, monitor the roll out and training with timeline and ensure achievements of the targets assigned.
Similarly, the District Level Coordination Committee shall  ensure adherence to the roll out plan and training calendar,  frame IEC Plan in the district, coordinate all the agencies involved, conduct training workshops in the  district comply with the advisories with regard to Less Cash-Cashless Bharat Mission and ensure achievement of the targets assigned.
Block Level Coordination Committee shall ensure compliance to the training calendar, IEC Plan, coordinate all the agencies involved, monitor the training with timeline, ensure achievement of the targets assigned, submit fortnight progress reports to the DDC and  Director RDD,  maintain records and books of account and conduct audit of the funds received and utilized.
The SLCCDP shall be headed by Administrative Secretary of the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj as its Chairman while Administrative Secretary Information Technology Depart-ment, Secretary FCS&CAD, Commissioner Commercial Taxes Department, Commiss-ioner Excise Department, Director Panchayat, Mission Director SRLM, CEO IWMP(PMKSY), Director Rural Sanitation, Member Secretary MGNREGA, State Information Officer, NIC, Director Training, IMPA &RD, representative of State Level Bankers Committee and State MIS Nodal Officer, MGNREGA will be its Members.
The Divisional Level Coordination Committee shall  headed by Director Rural Development Jammu/Kashmir and District Level Coordination Committee by the respective District Development Commissioner while the Block Level Coordination Committee shall be headed by Assistant Commissioner Development.
The State Level Coordination Committee as well as  Divisional Level Coordination Committees shall meet once a month while district Level Coordination Committees and Block Level Coordination Committees shall meet twice a month.
In case of SLCC and DLCC, the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj shall be  Nodal Department while Assistant Commissioner Development and  Block Development Officer, shall be Nodal Officer in case of District Level Coordination Committee and Block Level Coordination Committee, respectively.
