Rajouri, Aug 2: Minister for Public Works and Parliamentary Affairs Abdul Rehman Veeri today inaugurated two motor-able bridges at  Deolian and Dalli in Kalakote Tehsil in presence of Minister for  CAPD Ch Zulfkar Ali and  Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Abdul Ghani Kohli and Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma.
Minister inaugurated twenty four metre span bridge on Kharak-Panhar road at Deolian and fifteen metre span bridge over Sair Panoti  road at Dalli. These motor-able bridges constructed at cost of Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 1.1 crore respectively will improve connectivity with many far flung villages.
Later, the Ministers convened a public meeting at Kalakote.
While addressing the gathering, Abdul Rehman Veeri said that present Government is fully conscious of the problems of the people of State and will leave no stone unturned to alleviate these problems.
“We have a vision of equitable development of all the regions of State and are moving ahead with great zeal to carry forward the mission of our legendry leader late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to take the State on the path of development and prosperity”, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister for CAPD Ch. Zulfkar Ali said that the present Coalition Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is making concerted efforts to provide accountable and transparent governance to the people and various developmental initiatives are underway to provide better amenities to the people.
Reiterating the commitment of the Government to provide ration to each and every citizen of the State on time, Ch Zulfkar said that department is going to open many new fair price shops and each hamlet will be provided with a fair price shop. “No one will have to travel for more than one and half km for collection of the ration”, he added.
In his address, Minister for Animal Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Ghani Kohli appealed the people to come forward and avail maximum benefit of the developmental schemes and projects launched by the Government.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Shabir Ahmed Bhat, Chief Engineer R&B Chief Engineer PMGSY and other officers of the concerned departments accompanied the Ministers.
