Govt committed to dignified return of KPs: Mattoo

JAMMU, Nov 13: Advisor to Chief Minister, Prof Amitabh Mattoo, today said the Government is committed for return of Kashmiri Pandit community to the Valley with dignity.
Mattoo was speaking at an award function organised in memory of journalist Prem Nath Bhat by the trust founded under his name.
Mattoo assured the Pandit community that the Government will ensure that they live a dignified life till their return to their roots. He said that during a recent joint meeting with representatives of Pandit community and the concerned officers, he strongly advocated all facilities for the community members.
During the function, Mattoo presented awards to two journalists- Kanchan Sharma author and journalist, Ramesh Kumar Mattoo, Bangalore based veteran journalist and owner of Aalaw publication.
Saying that Professor Mattoo has the distinction of being second youngest Vice Chancellor in the country, Professor A.N Sadhu hailed the contribution of Mattoo in the education sector.
