Govt can’t make 714 Indian names linked with Paradise papers leaks public: Goyal

AHMEDABAD: Railway and Coal Minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday said transparency has become the ‘unique identity’ of Narendra Modi Government which has taken such strict steps against black-money, black-marketing and corruption in its tenure of last three and a half years which were unprecedented in the history of the nation.

He also said the Government was ensuring investigation of all the 714 Indians linked with Paradise Papers leak but could not make the names public at its own owing to international relationship protocols.

Addressing a press conference here Mr Goyal said Congress which was submerged in corruptions and scams during its rule was now questioning the BJP. ”Congress can’t name even two proper steps it had taken against black money during its regime.

On the other hand our Government has taken unprecedented steps against black money, black marketing and corruption. It was working on the suggestions of the SIT in a transparent manner. In fact transparency has become an unique identity of our Government,” he said. (AGENCIES)
