JAMMU: The State Government today appointed former bureaucrat as new Chief Information Commissioner here.
In exercise of the powers vested in him under the Jammu and Kashmir Right to Information Act, 2009 (Act No. VIII of 2009), Governor NN Vohra appointed Khurshid A Ganai IAS (Retd) as the State Chief information Commissioner, official spokesman here said.
He said Mr Ganai’s appointment as Chief Information Commissioner of J&K shall take effect from the date he assumes charge of the post. (AGENCIES)
