BASOHLI, Feb 23: Minister for Forest, Environment and Ecology, Choudhary Lal Singh today said that the current dispensation under Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, is aiming equitable development for all the regions of the State.
The Minister, who is on a whirlwind tour to Basohli constituency, today inaugurated several roads, educational and other developmental projects.  “Govern-ment is working day and night to bring the State up on developmental map in the country,” he told the gathering at various places here, adding “we need the cooperation from the general masses to turn our dreams into the reality.
Inaugurating three additional classrooms at Government High School, Forelain in Basohli under SSA, the Minister said that human resource development is essential for turning Jammu and Kashmir into a prosperous State. He also inaugurated the playground at Baira. The Minister visited many other areas including Panchayt Forelaine, Brun, Basohli, Barnodi and Dhrosi where he listened to the grievances of the people and assured timely redressal from the Government.
The Minister, on the occasion, directed the Deputy Commi-ssioner, Kathua, to compile the feasibility report for Lift Irrigation Scheme. He said that with more developmental vision of the Government, Basohli constituency would get its share.
The Minister was accompanied by all the heads of the department of Forest and its allied wings.
