Governor releases “Aansuoon Ke Chinaab” of Suneeta Raina

JAMMU, Apr 14: Governor released “Aansuoon Ke Chinaab” volume of Urdu poetry written by Suneeta Raina, a promising poetess, at a function held at the Raj Bhavan.
This book contains a collection of ghazals on varied subjects like women empowerment, contemporary issues, yearning of Kashmiri Pandits for their homeland, and growing intolerance in the society.
Preemi Romani, Khalid Hussain and Dr. Irfan Arif made brief observations which reflected on the high quality of Raina’s verses.
Governor complimented Raina for her meaningful poetic reflections on various important issues facing the society and giving soulful expression to the pain of Kashmiri Pandits who had been rendered homeless. He emphasised the importance of such poetic works being translated for the enrichment of literature and urged Raina and the writers and Urdu scholars present on the occasion to continue their endeavours for enriching and propagating Urdu language.
