SRINAGAR, Oct 25: Governor Satya Pal Malik has expressed grief over the sad demise of former MLC Wazira Begum.
In a condolence message, Governor has prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family in hour of grief.
National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have also expressed grief over the demise of Wazira Begum.
In their condolence messages to the bereaved family, Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah recalled the role of Wazira Begum towards empowerment and emancipation of women across the State.
