Governor, CM pay tributes to Dr Ambedkar

JAMMU, Apr 13: Governor N. N. Vohra today paid tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary.
In a message, the Governor recalled that Dr. Ambedkar, an erudite scholar and a most outstanding legal luminary, has made invaluable contribution to the framing of the Indian Constitution.
He also recalled Dr. Ambedkar’s commitment towards nation building, particularly in regard to the uplift of the weaker sections of society.
Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, also paid rich tributes to Dr B R Ambedkar, the architect of Indian Constitution, on his birth anniversary.
In her message, the Chief Minister described Dr. Ambedkar as a great social reformer and legal luminary who would always be remembered for his role in framing the Indian Constitution.
Mehbooba Mufti also recalled Dr. Ambedkar’s contribution in the upliftment of the downtrodden and weaker sections of the society in the country.
