Governor, CM greet people on Mahavir Jayanti

JAMMU, Apr 8: Governor N. N. Vohra has extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavira.
In his message of felicitations, observing that Lord Mahavira was an apostle of truth and righteousness the Governor said that celebration of such occasions reinvigorate the bonds of brotherhood, amity, harmony and the secular values for which Jammu and Kashmir has been known since centuries past.
The Governor prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has also greeted people on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti.
In her message of felicitations, the Chief Minister said that celebrating such occasions cements the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and the secular values for which our society is known for.
Mehbooba Mufti has prayed for peace, progress and prosperity for the State.
