Governor, CM greet people on Mahavir Jayanti

JAMMU, Mar 28: Governor N. N. Vohra has extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavira.
In his message of felicitations, Governor has observed that Lord Mahavira was an apostle of truth and righteousness and the celebration of his birth anniversary would revive the importance of brotherhood and communal harmony for which Jammu and Kashmir has been known in the centuries past.
The Governor prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has also greeted people of the State on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti.
The Chief Minister described Lord Mahavira as an apostle of peace, truth and righteousness whose teachings highlight the importance of brotherhood and communal harmony for which the State has been known for centuries.
Mehbooba Mufti has prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
