SRINAGAR: Governor Satya Pal Malik on Sunday approved four more developmental works for upgrading civic amenities in Katra town in Jammu region.
An official spokesperson said that continuing with the initiatives for the creation, upgradation and expansion of civic amenities in Katra and its surrounding areas, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board at its 63rd meeting held under the chairmanship of the Governor, who is also the chairman of the Shrine Board, at the Raj Bhavan Srinagar, approved new infrastructural works estimated to cost Rs. 2.43 crore.
