Gold ornaments, cash stolen from house

JAMMU, Jan 13: Some unknown thieves struck a house in Bhour Camp falling in the jurisdiction of police station Satwari and decamped with gold ornaments and cash.
According to a police official, the theft occurred during the intervening night of January 12 and 13 when the family members were away from their house to attend a function.
He said that house in which the theft occurred belong to Rishpal Singh son of Jagat Singh, resident of Bhour Camp, who in his complaint stated that they had gone to attend a function last night and when returned around midnight, found the lock of the house broken. He said on checking of the house they found that 2 gold rings, 2 nose ear rings of gold and a cash amount of Rs 30, 000 were missing.
“In this connection, a case FIR No 10/2018 under Sections 457/380 RPC has been registered at police station Satwari and further investigation in the case is going on”, he added.
