POONCH, Apr 25: A girl was killed, while her brother was injured, when a bus hit their motorcycle in tehsil Surankote.
Police spokesman said that, driver of the bus bearing registration number JK02D-8527 was reversing the vehicle, when it hit brother and sister standing near their motorcycle.
The duo received grievous injuries and were shifted to Surankote hospital, where doctors declared Fozia Kouser, daughter of Mohd Hafiz of Potha as brought dead. The condition of the boy is stated to be out of danger, when last reports came in, he added.
A case has been registered and manhunt has been launched to arrest the driver of the bus, who fled from the spot after committing the offence.
