KATHUA, Nov 28: A four year old girl died after the car in which she was travelling along with her parents hit a parked truck late last night at Khrot Morh near here.
She has been identified as Atisha, daughter of Mohit Gupta.
As per reports Mohit Gupta of Chadwal who was travelling in the Maruti car late last night from Lakhanpur to Chadwal along with his wife Sharika and daughter Atisha hit a truck which was parked at National Highway near Khrot Morh resulting into serious injuries to the girl. The husband -wife duo also received minor injuries. They were rushed to DH Kathua by police where doctors declared the girl as brought dead.
Mohit and Sharika were given first aid in the hospital and discharged in the morning. The dead body of the girl was handed over to parents by the police for last rites. The Kathua Police has registered a case under Section 279/337/304 RPC.
