MENDHAR, May 18: A young girl was died after consuming some poisonous substance in Mendhar area today.
The deceased has been identified as Nazia Bi (18), daughter of Ghulam Sadiq, resident of Sagra village in Mankote. The girl in serious condition was rushed to SDH Mendhar by family members early today where doctors referred her to DH Rajouri but she passed away on the way, just short of Dhar Galoon. Her body was brought back to Mendhar hospital and then handed over to the family for last rites after postmortem during the day. The police has registered a case for investigation.
