Srinagar, Nov 29: Police today said a girl committed suicide in south Kashmir’s Kokernag area of Anantnag district.
A police spokesman said a girl (name with held) of Dongibal village of Kokernag committed suicide by hanging herself at her home. “After completion of medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her relatives for last rites. Police have initiated proceedings under section 174 CrPC,” he said.
