Srinagar, Jan 23: Police today said a girl attempted suicide in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A police spokesman said 20 year-old girl (name withheld) hailing from Grend Kallan village of Budgam district consumed some poisonous substance at her home.
“The girl was shifted to District Hospital Budgam where from she has been referred to Srinagar for further treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
