Gharota Police organizes Kabaddi Tournament

JAMMU, Dec 9: Gharota Police organized a Kabaddi Tournament in Government Higher Secondary School Bhalwal under Civic Action Programme.
Around 100 students of different classes of the Government Higher Secondary School Bhalwal participated.
On the occasion, CD Sharma, Principal Government Higher Secondary School Bhalwal was the chief guest, while SI Dheeraj Nagpal, SHO Police Station Gharota was the guest of honour. Staff members of the school were also present.
In the summit clash (boys), Red Team defeated Blue Team and won title trophy, whereas in girls, Team-A trounced Team-B and lifted the title trophy.
While speaking, CD Sharma and SI Dheeraj Nagpal encouraged the students to participate in sports activities to keep their body physically and mentally fit.
Later, medals were distributed among the players of the winner teams. Players of runner up teams were also honoured.
