SAMBA, Aug 7: In continuation to its drive against bovine smuggling Ghagwal Police on the intervening night of August 6 and 7 laid a naka at Ghagwal.
During checking police seized a truck bearing registration No JK02S/8825 laden with 13 buffaloes. The driver of vehicle escaped after taking advantage of darkness. A case FIR No. 74/2017 U/S 188 ROC,2/3 PCA was registered and investigation taken up.
The drive against the bovine smuggling was launched in the district under the directives of SSP Samba, Anil Magotra by Police Party of PS Ghagwal headed by SHO PS Ghagwal Rajeshwar Singh under the supervision of Dy SP Hqrs Samba, Tanvir Ahmed.
