SAMBA, Feb 22: In continuation to its drive against the menace of bovine smuggling Ghagwal Police rescued four oxen which were being carried towards Samba after intercepting a Tata Mahindra vehicle without number late last night.
Police said the driver of the vehicle fled from spot after taking advantage of darkness. Instantly case FIR Number.16/2017 u/s 188RPC,2/3 PCA Act registered and vehicle seized. The whole operation was conducted under the supervision of DYSP Hqtr Tanveer and SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
