Inter Collegiate Football (M) Tournament

JAMMU, Sept 24: Government Degree College (GDC) Samba, PG Arts and YCET registered convincing victories in the Inter-Collegiate Football (M) Tournament 2018-19 which began at Jammu University Football Ground, here.
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu inaugurated the tournament in a well attended function in the presence of Dr Brij Baloria, Sumnesh Sharma, Balbir Chib, Sanjeev Jamwal, Vikram Jamwal, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Ravish Vaid, S. Harinderpal Singh and Jai Bharat.
GDC Samba beat GDC Paloura by (5-0) in an easy contest. The goal scorers from GDC Samba were Ujjwal Singh (2), Nikhil Sambyal, Sham Sambyal and Akhil Slathia (1 each).
In another match, PG Arts defeated IG Dental College Rehari by eight goals to nil (8-0). Mussa scored 3 golas, while Aquil netted 2 and the rest of the goals were scored by Amit Sharma and Akeel.
In the 3rd match of the day, YCET College drubbed GDC Rajouri by (3-0).
The goal scorers from YCET College Abrar (2) and Aman (1) .
The matches were officiated by Suresh Gupta, Dheeraj Menia, Dil Bahadur, Roddey Sharma, Taranpal Singh, Rohit Kumar Gupta and Gagan Kumar.
