MENDHAR, Dec 21: Department of Chemistry, Government Degree College (GDC), Mendhar, organised an extension lecture on MRI and NMR here today.
The lecture was organised under the leadership of Head, Department of Chemistry, Prof Shokit Hussain. Dr Avinash Gupta, president, College Teacher Association, from Department of Chemistry, Government College for Women, Parade, was the key speaker.
Gupta gave a detailed account of the application of NMR in determination of structure of various compounds and answered the queries raised by the students.
The lecture was organised under the supervision of Prof Shabir Hussain Shah, Principal, GDC Mendhar while vote of thanks was presented by Aruj Un Nisa, a student.
