JAMMU, Nov 27: An impressive function was organized in the premises of Govt Degree College, Kathua to felicitate the handball players, who were part of the Inter-Zonal Handball Tournament held in Jammu recently.
Sachin Dogra, a student of B Com IInd Year, Harmandeep Singh of B Com IInd Year and Sandeep Singh of B Com Ist were the handball players of this College, whose team clinched silver medal in the All India National Inter-Zonal Handball Championship and gold in North Zone Inter-University Championship.
College Principal, Dr B L Gupta, Physical Director, Dr Balbinder Singh and Prof Jaswinder Singh, Convener Sports Board lauded the efforts of the students for this achievement.
