JAMMU, Mar 18: Government Degree College Bishnah organized extension lecture on the topic on ‘Environment Degradation and Conservation’, here today.
Yhe lecture was held under the guidance of Prof Preeti Dogra, Head Department of Environmental Sciences.
The lecture was concluded under the series of extension lectures convened by Prof Seema Mir, Head Department of English.
The resource person was an eminent Geologist Seva Dass, Retired Sr. Dy Dg (Geological Survey of India).
Earlier, Principal of the College, Dr KR Sharma presented welcome address.
The invited speaker spoke on length on various environmental issues which are of great concern in the modern era.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by the student Amarpreet Kour, while the programme concluded with vote of thanks presented by Preeti Dogra, Head Department of EVS.
