JAMMU, Mar 9: On the fifth day of the Sports Tourney 2018, the finals of Kabaddi and Kho-Kho were played at GCW Gandhi Nagar, while Table Tennis matches were played at MAM College and Judo and Cricket matches were played at GGM Science College, Constituent Colleges of Cluster University of Jammu.
In Kabaddi men’s final, GGM Science College defeated Govt SPMR College of Commerce by 14 points (43-29).
Dr Geetanjali Rana, Dean Arts, Cluj was the chief guest.
In Kabaddi women’s final, GCW Gandhi Nagar drubbed Govt College of Education by 16 points (20-04). Tania from GCW Gandhi Nagar scored highest points. Prof Z.A. Hashmi, Controller Exams, Cluster University of Jammu was chief guest and Dr Bupinder Singh was guest of honour.
The final of Kho-Kho match (Women) was played between Govt. College of Education and GCW Gandhi Nagar. GCW Gandhi Nagar won by 10 points (12-02). Neeru of GCW Gandhinagar scored highest points. Dr. Kaushal Samnotra, Principal GCW Gandhi Nagar was chief guest and Prof. Sunil Uppal Co-ordinator Sports Cluster University was guest of honour.
In Kho-Kho men’s final, SPMR College of Commerce beat GGM Science College by 7 points (10-3), while in Table Tennis women final, GCW Gandhi Nagar beat Govt. College of Education (3-1) and in Table Tennis (men) final, SPMR College trounced Govt. College of Education (3-1).
In Cricket men’s final, GGM Science College defeated GCOE by 35 runs and in Judo men, MAM College won overall trophy by securing 26 points and GGM Science College remained runners-up.
Dr. Satinder Singh, Principal GGM Science College was the chief guest.
