Ganga convenes public redressal camp, assesses people’s issues

SAMBA, Sept 3: Member Legislative Assembly, Chander Prakash Ganga, today convened a public grievances redressal camp at village Jhang in Ramgarh to take stock of public issues, besides assessing the status of development works being executed in the area.
During the camp, which was thronged by a large number of people from Jhang and adjoining areas, several issues were projected by the locals concerning their respective areas. The demands raised by the villagers included black topping of road from GMS to Community Hall at Village Jhang, repair and renovation of road from Mandir to Shamshan Ghat at village Jhang and construction of tractor road from Baba Dev Sathan upto Jakh road along canal.
Ganga, while responding to the grievances and demands of the people, assured them that all the issues raised by them would be taken up with the appropriate authorities for an early redressal.
Addressing the gathering, the MLA complimented the people for massive development being registered in the villages at par with urban areas and appreciated their cooperation towards achieving the set goals under different State and centrally sponsored schemes. “People’s participation is the key ingredient in effective implementation of government schemes envisaging welfare and development of under privileged segments of the society”, he maintained.
The MLA, while affirming establishment of good governance under BJP rule, exhorted upon the people to work collectively towards removing all hurdles on this account. He said that it is imperative to show doors to the evil to let the good prevail in the society.
“BJP has set an example of extending people friendly administration to its people by registering tremendous development at all levels,” the MLA asserted. He said that ‘development’ was mere a word for the previous regimes and it was only the strong commitment and sincerity of BJP which gave a pragmatic shape to Development in the State.
Referring to upcoming ULB and Panchayat elections in the State, the MLA appealed the people to choose only the right representatives who would be able to serve them with a true spirit and camaraderie.
