Ganga convenes public grievances redressal camp

SAMBA, Mar 18: Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today convened grievances redressal camp at Ramgarh and listened to grievances raised by the public.
The Minister was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner, Sheetal Nanda, SSP Anil Magotra, SDM Ravinder Sharma, Tehsildar Jai Kumar Sharma and officers from PDD, PHE and PWD.
The public raised various issues like issuance of Adhaar cards, widow pension, upgradation of Vijaypur to Ramgarh road and augmentation of power supply.
Responding to demands, the Minister announced that Ramgarh town has recently been included under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and every eligible individual would be able to own his house by the year 2019. He also added that land for landless would be identified so that they may also avail benefits of the scheme. He said the Government is committed to provide basic facilities across health, education, water, power and road connectivity sectors.
He informed that enhanced pension of Rs 1000 is now being credited to beneficiaries and liabilities up to February 2017 have been cleared. He added the proposal for Govt Degree College has been approved in DDB meeting and site would soon be identified for the same.
He also announced construction of boundary wall at Shamshan Ghat out of his Constituency Development Fund. Earlier, the Minister visited newly constructed block of Community Health Centre Ramgarh and directed the officials to immediately make it operational.
