Ganga calls on Union Minister, seeks extension of incentives to J&K

NEW DELHI, Mar 24: A high level delegation led by Industries Minister Chander Prakash Ganga today called on Union Minister of State for Finance Arjun Meghwal and discussed with him J&K’s industrial profile with focus on implementation of GST Regime.
During the meeting, Ganga strongly advocated the demand of J&K’s industrial fraternity for extension of central package of incentives under GST regime to the existing as well as new industries for rapid growth of industries in the State.
The Union Minister said the Central Government is extending a good support to Jammu and Kashmir so that the State emerges as an industrially developed entity in pace with the acclaimed industries. He assured the delegation that all possibilities would be explored for extension of current Central Package Incentives under GST regime in the state.
The delegation was comprised of Chairman Federation of Industries J&K, Lalit Mahajan, President Industries Association Samba, Vijay Aggarwal and Vice President Bari Brahmana Industries Association Rahul Bansal.
