Ganesh Mandir Samiti holds meet

JAMMU, Aug 5: The members of Ganesh Mandir Prabhandak Samiti, Ganpatyar Srinagar held a meeting here, today under the chairmanship of senior KP leader and president, All India Kashmiri Pandit Conference (AIKPC), H N Jattu who is also the president of the Committee.
The meeting discussed various issues regarding the welfare and development of this ancient shrine, situated on the bank of Vitasta in heart of Srinagar, city.
It also expressed concern over the trespassing in the temple complex at Ganpatyar. Addressing the meeting H N Jattu made an appeal to the present Government to accept the long pending demand of the community regarding passage of Kashmiri Hindu Shrines and Temples Bill.
The meeting also constituted an Election Authority headed by M K Koul to hold the elections of the Samiti on September 2.
