Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Jan 27: Bhartiya Gujjar Mahasabha (BGM) said that any future alliance with NC would prove to be disaster for the Congress.
In a statement, BGM State president, Eshfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal said that the NC led Coalition Government has failed on all fronts, particularly in solving problems of the youth.
“If Congress continues alliance with the NC in future, it will have to pay price for all the failures of the NC”, he added.
“NYC volunteers have been agitating for the last many years. The Jail Warden aspirants have been on a hunger strike demanding release of final selection list, the interviews for which were held in 2010. But the Government is least bothered”, Poswal said adding similarly other youth and even the State Government employees and pensioners have been agitating for the last many years for their genuine demands, which are yet to be fulfilled”.
He said that by having alliance with NC, the Congress would face the people’s ire in future.
Poswal added that Congress should maintain its ideology and identity in the State and not be part of NC’s failures.
