JAMMU, Oct 11: To assess the functioning of evening schools for border migrants, Director School Education H R Pakhroo and Chief Education Officer Jammu Tarsem Lal toured the schools where these special classes are being held.
They visited Government High School Deol, Higher Secondary School Reyal, Higher Secondary School Saled etc and assessed the arrangements made for evening classes, which are being held for the wards of border migrants.
Mr Pakhroo issued necessary instructions to the teachers for ensuring that studies of the students may not suffer due to the prevailing situation on border. He said that all possible support was being provided by the Government in this regard.
The officers also interacted with the border migrants and sought their suggestions over the arrangements made for holding these special classes.
