Friends XI wins Tennis Cricket Night Tournament

POONCH, Aug 1: Scripting a narrow win by 7 runs over Rajouri XI in the summit clash, Friends XI lifted the title trophy of the Tennis Cricket Night Tournament, organised by Ehsaas Foundation at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) ground, here today.
Batting first, Friends XI set a target of 79 runs in 10 overs.
In reply, Rajouri XI made 71 runs, thus lost the match by 7 runs. JP Singh was adjudged as the man of match for his brilliant innings of 25 runs, while Chamkor Singh was adjudged as best batsman and Vikas was declared as best bowler and man of the series.
Rahul Yadav, DDC Poonch and Rajiv Pandey, SSP Poonch were the chief guests, while Swaran Singh DYSSO Poonch, DFO Poonch and Principal Sudershan Sharma were the guests of honour.
The tournament organised under the overall supervision of Parvaiz Malik, Chairman of the Ehsaas Foundation and Gurvinder Singh, Organising Secretary. Prominent among others present on the occasion were Advocate Rajinder Singh, Mohan Lal DySP, Nawaz DySP, Surjan Singh, Narjeet Singh, Mohd Tariq, Nirdosh Kumar and Vijay Sharma.
The matches were officiated by Arvinder Singh, Prithpal Singh, Imran, Sajad Kirmani, Gurmeet Singh, Ankush Sharma, Iftikhar Bhatti, Navjot Singh, Manik Bharghav, Sukhpreet Singh, Zaffar Shah and Imran Khan.
