Friends CC thrashes Bunasthan Club by 121 runs

KISHTWAR, July 18: Riding on Jaspreet Singh’s brilliant all-round display, Friends Cricket Club defeated Bunasthan Cricket Club by a big margin of 121 runs in the ongoing District Level JKCA Premier Championship at Choghan Cricket ground, here.
The Championships are being organised  in all the districts of Jammu province, under the overall supervision of members of JKCA namely Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, retired Judge and Sham Saroop Kalsotra.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Friends Cricket Club scored a huge total of 221 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 6 wickets in the process. Jaspreet top scored with 80 runs off 48 balls, studded with 4 fours and 6 sixes, while Umar and Khalid contributed unbeaten 59 and 36 runs to the total respectively. For Bunasthan Cricket Club, Arbaz took 3 wickets, while Owais claimed 2 wickets.
In reply, Bunasthan Cricket Club bundled out for a paltry total of 100 runs in 13.1 overs. Azhar and Sahiyam contributed 16 runs each. Jaspreet was the pick of the bowlers for Friends Cricket Club, who took 3 important wickets, while Danish claimed 2 wickets. Jaspreet Singh of Friends Cricket Club was adjudged as the man of the match.
