Fresh batch of 2118 trainees to strengthen CISF

NEW DELHI, Feb 3:
A fresh batch of 2,118 trainees of  Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Saturday passed out from the Regional Training Centre (RTC) at Deoli in Rajasthan. In a colourful ceremonial parade, CISF Additional Director General Alok Kumar Pateria took the salute from the passing out batch.
Speaking at the function, Principal Saroj Kant Malik said CISF RTC Deoli was established in 1984 with training capacity of 500 trainees which was increased to 1,008 in 2009. He further said that in 2017, the Force Head Quarters had given the responsibility to this RTC for imparting training to 5,400 trainees, of whom 2,118 trainees passed out today.
”Our endeavour is to nurture our core underlying qualities like discipline, turnout, physical fitness and tactical soundness that render us the vital edge in our functioning,” Mr Malik said.
Congratulating the trainees for their high standard and well synchronised parade, Mr Pateria emphasised the role of CISF in protecting the vital installation.
He further said that so far the training centres of CISF had successfully completed the training to more than 18,000 of trainees beyond their earmarked capacity.
He also congratulated the officers and trainers of RTC for their excellent performance in imparting training.  Mr Pateria also presented the trophies to the best trainees of the course.
During the training,  the trainees have acquired skills in a wide array of subjects ranging from indoor subjects like industrial security, security of buildings, monuments and vital installations, intelligence and surveillance, aviation security, fire prevention and fire fighting, human rights, VIP security, forensic science, law, Science and Technology, modern electronic security gadgets, computers, human behaviour and  on CISF Act & Rules.
