NEW DELHI, Sept 24: Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section depicted a steady trend at the local truck transport market in the national capital today following restricted cargo movements against adequate availability of trucks.
Transporters said besides restricted cargo movements, adequate availability of trucks mainly kept freight rates at previous levels.
Following are today’s freights per 9-tonne load (in Rs): Jaipur 17,000 Hyderabad 59,000 Chandigarh 18,000 Vijayawada 61,000 Ludhiana 19,000 Bengaluru 65,000 Kanpur 21,000 Chennai 68,000 Indore 25,000 Mysore 71,000 Ahmedabad 24,000 Puducherry 74,000 Baroda 25,000 Coimbatore 78,000 Patna 28,000 Kochi 81,000 Surat 29,000 Thiruvananthapuram 87,000 Mumbai 32,000 Goa 58,000 Pune 34,000 Gwalior 14,000 Kolkata 35,000 Guwahati 61,000 (PTI)
